"The best Chicken Rice in Kampar. Chan Kee Chicken Rice"
"Food- some hit n miss. Chicken is ok, but bit dry. Taste is good. The rice is fragrant, nice match with the chicken. The deep fry chicken is ok on its own but felt bland to eat with the chicken rice. The ginger paste is a letdown, rather bland. The environment is nice, with some retro feel. Comfortable dining experience. Price is ok, given the aircon n comfy dining Overall nice eating here. Will come again"
"作为一个常年寻找好吃鸡饭的人,可以负责任地说,这里的鸡饭真的很出色。鸡肉保留了原汁原味,嫩中带弹,吃得出新鲜。米饭油而不腻,鸡香入味,每一口都很满足。更惊喜的是他们的酱料,不论是辣椒酱、姜蓉还是酱油,都调配得很到位,三者搭配下去,味道层次感很丰富。价格合理,分量充足,性价比很高。推荐大家一定要来试一试!"
"the food was good, ordered the fried chicken and the normal chicken breast rice, I do not recommend the fried one, ur missing out on their hainanese chicken rice, though the kampung/yellow chicken is a bit expensive, I have read some of the reviews saying the staff forced them to order the yellow chicken which is probably a misunderstanding, what happened to me, is they suggesting and I clearly said no, just normal one. Even for vegetable portion/sizing is indicated clearly on the menu. Love the rice, very soft and fragrant, and the chicken was very soft and tender, I dont know what the other people were talking about the atmosphere and shop design is quite good, pictures of their food around 1 side and pictures of hongkong actors/artist at another side, they have a quite a lot of extra chairs stacked at one side, which I dont think fits the shop, too small. there is 1-2 big round tables can fit 6-7 people while the rest is rectangular 4 seater and I remember 2 seater table availabe, which is welcoming, I feel like they could fit more with rectangular tables only, which you can also combine into bigger table for big party of 8 people or more. For this reason I, and the shop being small, I prefer to keep the people around 3-4, like if and when I bring people for dining out but service needs a bit of an improvement. A bit slow, even when less people, they need be more efficient, first time I came to tapau, they lead me to the counter to order, they told me to pay it after. Third time there, they told me to pay first. I did not mind when to pay, thats just fine. Another one I have to comment is, the seating, they should put seats inside for people that tapau food, instead of occupying a table, or if the tables are full, I was just awkwardly standing there waiting for my order. There is a bench outside though, I belive it was for those delivery drivers or those waiting for empty table, also awkward waiting there. The worker was looking at me in a somewhat confusion, did not ask me what I ordered, did not ask me for receipt, just gave me the order, it was not the person that took my order, I can see why the worker was unsure Ordered the bean sprout and the glass lettuce, not a fan of the lettuce, wish they had sawi or bok choi. But the bean spout was sweet and plump. For vegi, I do suggest that you eat there and not tapau, cause it gets wilted if you eat too late, and you wont get that crispy fresh vegi taste. I do have to mention that they charge rm1/0.50 for every type of dish, below I include a receipt, charged rm1 for 3 chicken rice, and rm0.50 for the vegi, I did not mind, they do not use polystyrene but reusable plastic container. I do have to commend, they need better spoons and"
"The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very cozy. Everything was great value for the price. I will definitely return for another visit!"
